Exchange & Cancellation Policy
How to cancel a recurring subscription, and what happens to your access when you do.
This Exchange & Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel a recurring digital subscription purchased through NDFD's linked online Payment Portal, and what happens to your access when you do. It is distinct from, and should be read alongside, our Return & Refund Policy, our Delivery Policy, and our Terms of Use.
1. What "Cancellation" Means Here
Because NDFD's digital subscriptions and training programme access do not involve a physical product, there is no "exchange" of goods. In this policy, "cancellation" refers to stopping a recurring monthly or annual subscription charge from renewing, and "exchange" refers to moving from one subscription tier to another (for example, upgrading or downgrading your plan).
2. How to Cancel Your Subscription
You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time, effective at the end of your current paid billing period, by:
- Using the cancellation option inside your account settings in the subscription application, where available; or
- Emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Cancel Subscription", including your full name and the email or phone number used to sign up; or
- Calling us at +1 (767) 448-3240 or +1 (767) 275-5251 during office hours: Monday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Tuesday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
We will confirm your cancellation by email within 3 business days.
3. What Happens to Your Access After Cancellation
Because subscriptions are billed in full at the start of each billing period, cancelling does not end your access immediately unless you separately request and are approved for a refund under our Return & Refund Policy:
- You retain access to the digital service or subscription content for the remainder of the billing period you have already paid for.
- Your subscription will not renew or be charged again after the current billing period ends.
- No further charges will be made to your Visa or Mastercard card once cancellation is confirmed.
4. Changing (Exchanging) Your Subscription Tier
If you wish to move to a different subscription tier:
- Upgrading: Takes effect immediately upon successful payment authorisation of the price difference, if applicable, and provisions the higher tier's features right away.
- Downgrading: Takes effect at the start of your next billing period; you keep your current tier's features until then.
5. Cancelling Before First Charge
If you believe you were charged in error before ever using the service, or wish to cancel immediately after signing up, contact us right away using the details below — this is treated under our Return & Refund Policy rather than this cancellation process.
6. Merchant of Record
NDFD is the Merchant of Record for all subscriptions covered by this policy. NDFD — not NBD, the acquiring bank, or the Visa or Mastercard networks — is solely responsible for processing cancellations and tier changes.
